Privacy and security

Your contacts and what you know about people stay yours. Here is how the private space works, and the rules Callmory will never break.

What Callmory will never do.

These are product rules, not settings. They decide what we build.

  • Record phone calls or the other person's voice
  • Upload your address book in the background
  • Build a shared caller-ID or phone lookup database
  • Read your WhatsApp or SMS conversations
  • Send a message or merge contacts without you
  • Hide your phone's call history or system screens
  • Send your private space to AI
  • Say "fully backed up" about data it could not reach
Built, in security review

A private space with its own key.

Move a person into the private space and their notes, voice recordings and follow-ups move with them. It is stored separately, encrypted, opened with its own passcode and locked when you leave the app. It has a recovery key and its own encrypted backup.

  • Kept out of normal search, notifications, widgets, exports and AI
  • Move people in and out together with their records
  • Change the passcode or renew the recovery key at any time
  • Opens to everyone only after device testing and an independent security review

It does not hide your phone's own contacts or call history; those stay as they are.
